NIXI has announced approval of 8 languages including malayalam domain extension  as part of IDN’s available to use

 

Initial registration is called SURISE registration and this will be starting from March-16,2020 for Trade mark Holders in INDIA and then Overseas companies having trade mark registration in INDIA, then it will be opened for .IN domain registrants from India

And Finally by 15-June 2020 for all general public.

 

Sunrise A : Indian Registrant holding Indian Trade marks – 16th March to 14th April

•Sunrise B : Overseas Registrant holding Indian Trade Marks -31 March to 14th April

• Indian & Overseas  -Quiet Period-     15th April to 30th April

• Sunrise C : Existing Registrant holding ASCII domain name .in- 1st may to 30th may

• Quiet period for .IN registrants -   31st May to 14th June

General PUBLIC-  15-June-2020 onwards
